The Steinhausen Croquet Club takes the protection of personal data very seriously. We treat personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy.

We only collect and process personal data if you provide it to us voluntarily – for example, via our registration forms (membership, trial days) or when contacting us by email.

Your data will be used exclusively for managing your membership, organizing game operations on the Aebi meadow (including WhatsApp reservation group), and contacting you regarding club matters.
Disclosure to third parties
Your personal data will not be passed on to third parties outside the club, unless we are legally obliged to do so or it serves the purpose of organizing official association tournaments.
Data security on WhatsApp
We use a club-owned WhatsApp group for court reservations. Please note that when using WhatsApp, the privacy policies of WhatsApp Ireland Limited and Meta Platforms Inc. apply. Participation in this group is voluntary.
Your rights
You have the right to receive information about your personal data stored by us at any time, free of charge. Furthermore, you have the right to rectification, blocking, or erasure of this data, provided that this does not conflict with any legal retention obligations (e.g., the club’s accounting obligations).
